Another rewarded reviewer: Sergey Shabala

Sergey Shabala is a Professor in Plant Physiology and the Head of the Stress Physiology laboratory at the University of Tasmania. His research focusses on investigating different types of abiotic stresses in crop plants and he is also very passionate about teaching younger scientists and sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm for plant sciences. He does not only publish high-quality research but also greatly supports the scientific community by reviewing other scientific work regularly and in high quality. We, at Physiologia Plantarum, are very grateful that he was one of our major reviewers for our category Ecophysiology, Stress and Adaptation and thank him for his valuable input. Sergey will use his reward to travel to the Gordon Research Conference on Salt and Water Stress in Switzerland this year from the 31st of May until the 5th of June. In case you participate in the same conference, you are welcome to get in contact with Sergey!
